Jemeluk : black sand beach in Amed
North east Bali’s coast is full of tresors, Amed village and its surrounding are part of it. To go there, we advice you to stop at Taman Tirta Gangga, Karangasem Royal familly’s palace, dedicated to water. You will be able to walk around a pond, and admire the funtains and fat goldfish and golden carpes.
Once you arrive to Amed, locals will explain you the salt culture. Then, you will go to Jemeluk to stop at the black sand beach. This is a really nice snorkeling spot just few meters from the beach.
Sunrise café’s boss will take you fishing in his traditional boat (Jukung), and you will then eat the Mahi Mahi that you fished.
You will come-back by the amazing scenic road along the coast and appreciate the view from high and fishermen villages with their famous “Jukung” on the beach.
Time to destination from Sanur to Amed : 2 hours (car, motorbike)
